  • The Criminal/Traffic Division processes and maintains criminal, traffic, and housing cases in Hamilton County Municipal Court. The Criminal/Traffic Division provides a variety of services to the general public, attorneys, and law enforcement.

    NOTICE

    EffectiveJanuary 14,2020 Hamilton County Clerk of Courts will no longer process City of Cincinnati Parking Tickets.This includes accepting parking ticket payments, scheduling parking tickets for hearings, and conducting parking ticket hearings. The City of Cincinnati will now oversee the parking appeals process and payments for parking citations received in Cincinnati. Beginning January 22,2020, Cincinnati Parking Tickets can be paid or appealed at the City of Cincinnati’s Office of Administrative hearings located at 805 Central Ave, Suite 110, Cincinnati, OH 45202.

    Bond Information

    All bonds must be posted in person. Bonds may be posted 24 hours a Day, 365 days a year at the Clerk of Courts Municipal Criminal/Traffic Division located on the 1st Floor of the Hamilton County Justice Center, 1000 Sycamore Street.

    Bonds payments are accepted in the form of cash, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.

    Government issued photo identification is required for posting of bond.

    Failure to appear at all required appearances may result in forfeiture of bond in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 2937.35.

    Payments

    Payments for all misdemeanor criminal and traffic cases can be paid in person, by mail or online.

    Payments can be made in person Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Payments are accepted in the form of cash, credit/debit card, or certified check.
